Gonzalez is already in custody on unrelated charges, police said.

A woman was riding a bike, with her children, when a man hit her with a 2-by-4 piece of lumber, knocking the victim off of her bike. The victim and her children fled, she called police and was then taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
