CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago can have a new casino. Gov. JB Pritzker Tuesday signed a new gaming tax bill into law that paves the way for the gambling center.
Once it’s built it will provide money for pensions, hospitals and universities.
The law also allows gaming at the state fair and provides pandemic relief for the state’s gambling industry.
