A man shot in Aurora on Thursday night died at a hospital, police said.

The shooting happened before 8:45 p.m. in the area of East 19th Avenue and Oswego Street, police said. The scene is about three blocks west of the Anschutz medical campus.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died, and the shooting is being investigated as a homicide. It’s the fifth homicide investigation in the city in the past three days.
